My dear father, Les Winefield, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on July 4, 1999. His love of life, determination and great personal warmth gave very much to everyone he met. He was a wonderful person. Les worked hard to ensure this diary would not be lost forever. This site is dedicated to his memory.
